  • 15 oz chickpeas canned
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp cumin ground
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp chili powder
  • salt optional
  • 1 pinch black pepper ground
  • 1 pinch red chili pepper crushed


  • Preheat oven to 350° F (175° C).
  • Drain, rinse, and dry chickpeas using a paper towel.
  • In a bowl, mix chickpeas with olive oil, cumin, garlic powder, chili powder, red chili pepper, ground black pepper and a pinch salt.
  • Spread all the ingredients on a baking sheet.
  • Roast in the preheated oven for 45 minutes.
  • Stir once or twice until crisp and golden.
  • Let it cool on the baking sheet for 50 minutes.
